Under the chairmanship of His Excellency Shaikh Abdullah bin Bayah, President of "Promoting Peace in Muslim Societies" and a group of His Excellencies, Scholars, Virtue, Empowerment, Intellectuals and a group of media professionals and intellectuals, the Peace Promotion Forum announced the founding meeting of its Board of Trustees at a meeting held in Abu Dhabi on 12 - 11 December 2015 .

He said that the Forum, in order to achieve its objectives, has worked to develop and implement the near-term plans of intervention in the areas of tension in Islamic and human societies and quick plans to produce scientific and intellectual products to correct concepts and consolidate the values of peace. Peace "which will be the first encyclopedia in Islamic history on the subject of peace, as well as plans for training within the framework of an organized scientific program for men and women in recognition of the principle of the importance of the role of women in promoting a culture of peace and to discuss ways to ensure the success of the conference for the protection of non-Muslim minorities in the Islamic Diyar which will be held under the high patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI Morocco, organized by the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Morocco partnership with the Forum to promote peace - Abu Dhabi, the city of Marrakech on 27 - 25 January 2016, in preparation for a second conference on Muslim minorities in the community Non-Muslim being held in Abu Dhabi.

His Excellency pointed out that the founding meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Forum aims to coordinate the efforts of the nation's scientists and thinkers within the institutional work capable of confronting conflicts and fire extinguishing and reform of the interrelationship in Muslim societies.

The Forum for the Promotion of Peace in Muslim Societies was established in Abu Dhabi and has a permanent headquarters. And seeks to extinguish the fires of intellectual and correct false religious concepts and the dissemination of tolerance and noble Islamic values in Muslim societies.
